Beth

My name is Beth, and I am the owner of 'Little Tree Yogis', which is based in Los Angeles, California.
I have been teaching children in a variety of different capacities for the past 10 years. When I discovered yoga, and the gem that is Liberation Yoga studio, I knew that somehow I had to incorporate my passion for teaching children with my passion for yoga. So here it is - Little Tree Yogis, serving young yogis (and big kids, aka adults!) around the globe.
Originally from London, I am now based in Los Angeles, after completing both my 200 hour yoga teacher training, and my children's yoga qualification. In addition to my yoga, I am a french teacher, swimming instructor, gymnastics coach, and certified first aider, so have plenty experience when it comes to teaching! Often referred to as the Mary Poppins of the yoga world, Beth will ensure that your child blossoms in their yoga classes to become self-confident young people who have the tools to deal with anything life may throw at them.

Brittany - Family Yoga

Brittany Wilkerson discovered yoga at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in New York City after a dance injury rendered her unable to run, leap, or spin! As the science of yoga healed her hip, the art of yoga opened her mind and heart to liberation she had never experienced before. A 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified teacher through Liberation Yoga in Hollywood, and a Certified Light Leaders Children's Yoga Teacher, Brittany believes deeply in the power of yoga to change our lives and our world for the better. With a background in acting, music, dance, and improvisation, Brittany teaches a class sprinkled with humor, musings, mantras, and heartful asana. She relishes the ability to share this ancient practice with others, hoping to guide each student on the path to unique self-expression, healing, and joy!
Brittany's family classes will get the whole family moving, communicating and bonding. Always an exciting class, she will ensure that everybody has the best Sunday morning possible!

Becky - Prenatal Yoga

It all began one magical day in 2003. She saw a flyer on a telephone pole outside her apartment about a donation based yoga class in a church down the street. Instantly she knew she should go. So she went, and it was hard, really hard. Seriously who knew that standing on one leg for a few breaths would be such a challenge. On the walk home she felt different, besides her legs feeling like jelly, her head seemed clearer and quieter. It was a lovely feeling and space to walk home in. Yoga turned out to be everything she had been looking for and didn’t even know it. Since then she has truly loved every minute of her yoga journey, yes even the falling out of an arm balance and seemingly endless navasanas. Yoga has made her more courageous, kind (especially to herself) and still. Her hope is to help cultivate those traits in others while being open to what they have to teacher her. She completed her 200 hr. teacher training here at Liberation and her prenatal training at Silverlake Yoga with Juliette Kurth and Leah Miller. Becky loves to teach Mommies-to-be ( a lot more than talking about herself in the third person). A yoga practice throughout a pregnancy helps to develop strength, confidence, and relaxation that you will carry with you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and hopefully throughout motherhood. But should you lose your way remember you can always come back to your mat.
